Super Bowl 57: 5 MVP picks who could cash big

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will meet in Super Bowl 57. Here are five Super Bowl MVP wagers that could pay off big.

5. Haason Reddick, EDGE, Philadelphia Eagles (+3000)

Reddick has been a menace all year, racking up a team-high 16 sacks. He’s going to have the advantageous matchup of Chiefs right tackle Andrew Wylie, who is the most susceptible of any Kansas City linemen. While Reddick is almost certain to garner chips and double teams all game, a few splash plays could give him the nod. We don’t often see a defensive player win MVP, but Reddick has the best chance of anybody on Philadelphia’s star-laden unit.

4. Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia Eagles (+5000)

For Sanders to win Super Bowl MVP, he’ll need to go well over 100 rushing yards and probably score a few touchdowns. The good news? Kansas City might be so focused on limiting Jalen Hurts and taking away the vertical passing game, that it’s willing to concede some yardage to Sanders. This year, Sanders has rushed for at least 100 yards on three occasions, and in all three games, scored twice. He’ll need such a performance to cash bets here.

3. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (+7500)

Smith-Schuster is getting some love here, largely because the odds of 75/1 are simply too good to pass up. He was almost an 1,000-yard receiver this year and likely would have been if a concussion didn’t keep him out of one game and most of another. With the attention we expect tight end Travis Kelce to get, Smith-Schuster could be a dynamic weapon against Philadelphia’s zone defenses.

2. Chris Jones, DT, Kansas City Chiefs (+5000)

No interior rusher had more sacks this season than Jones, who racked up 15.5 before destroying the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game with another pair of traps. The Chiefs love to move Jones all over the front and are good at creating one-on-one matchups to exploit. The Eagles have the best offensive line in the game, but guard Landon Dickerson and right tackle Lane Johnson are dealing with significant injuries. Jones could take advantage.

1. Jerick McKinnon, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (+5000)

McKinnon is a great bet. He scored 10 touchdowns this season, including nine through the air. Outside of Kelce, nobody on Kansas City is more likely to find the painted grass. Additionally, McKinnon will see a ton of snaps, as he’s the main pass-blocking back. Against Philadelphia’s front — which notched 70 regular-season sacks — McKinnon will be catching screens, going out for patterns after he chips and running the ball. He could have a huge day and a major impact.
