We can now add another potential starting quarterback to the unrestricted free agent market this March.
A.J McCarron was previously slated to become a restricted free agent, but this now changes.
Given that the Cleveland Browns were close to trading for McCarron during the 2017 season, they seem to be a logical destination. With no compensation going back to Cincinnati, there promises to be a ton of teams interested in bringing in this former National Champion. That list now includes the Denver Broncos.
A fifth-round pick back in 2014, McCarron has started a grand total of three games in four NFL seasons, throwing six touchdowns compared to two interceptions during that span.
