When doing your research on what teams to wager on, you will want to review stats. But how to interpret these stats may be the key to winning. What do these stats tell us? How do I apply them? All good questions.

If you have a team ranking near the top on offense and near the bottom on defense, what does that tell you? It tells you that they are likely to be in some high scoring games. So how can you capitalize on that? A good way is to watch the over/under line on their games. Be leaning towards the over, but also keep in mind that their line is going to be high to start with. If it seems to you that it is not high enough, there you go. Sounds like a good over bet.

The different stat columns would be useful in prop bets. If you see Green Bay is largely a passing offense and you see prop bets on which team will score first on a running play, which can be of help to you.
