2015 NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year Odds

The 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds have shifted around quite a bit since the day they opened directly after the NFL draft.

Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota were selected first and second respectively, but neither opened as favorites to win the Rookie of the Year. Melvin Gordon opened as the favorite. However, since then Winston has taken over the top spot of the odds with +500 odds.

Gordon sits with +600 odds right behind Winston. Gordon came close to breaking the single-season rushing record with 2,587 yards and 29 touchdowns. He rushed a record-breaking 408 yards against Nebrask. That includes a record-breaking 408 rushing yards against Nebraska. In San Diego he will be a key offensive component from the get go, so his place in the odds makes sense.

The biggest drop occurred in Marcus Mariota who saw his odds fall drastically in the days after the draft. While Mariota was drafted No. 2 he was drafted to the Tennessee Titans, a team that NFL fans and bettors have a hard time getting excited about regardless of who is standing at center.

Breshad Perriman, drafted to the Ravens is a bit of surprise to even crack the top ten. He was did not have an exceptional season his last year in college, but he could make an interesting target for Joe Flacco given his natural talent, including speed, height and big play potential.
