2017 Orange Bowl Odds: Wisconsin @ Miami

The 2017 Orange Bowl odds are set as the game approaches tonight where two teams that were undefeated for the majority of the season clash.

Wisconsin and Miami were both long shots to be included in the CFP simply due to their strength of schedule ratings. Both teams fell in their conference finals that would have put them in the top four spots. Regardless the Orange Bowl will see to of the nation’s best teams go head to head.

Miami lost their last two games but had they edged out Clemson in the conference finals they would likely be the team tasked with derailing the Crimson Tide.

Wisconsin’s only loss this season came in the Big Ten championship where Ohio State somehow managed to pick apart Wisconsin’s elite defense. Wisconsin battled back and had the ball as the clock ticked down but did not come up with that one big play to put them over Ohio State.

Wisconsin has tended toward sending bettors to pay out windows over the last few years. In their last three bowl appearances they are 3-0 straight up and covered in two of those games.

Miami is only 2-7 both straight up and against the spread in bowl games dating back to 2005. However, the Hurricanes did win and cover last season.

Do not expect Miami playing in Florida to have too much of an impact on the game. Miami struggled to put butts in the seats during the regular season.
