Aaron Rodgers Signs Contract Extension Worth $134 Million
Aaron Rodgers has officially signed a contract extension with the Green Bay Packers, following an offseason of speculation
The Packers quarterback has extended his contract by four years. Aaron Rodgers will make an additional $134 million dollars with this new deal, per NFL.com.
Aaron Rodgers will also receive a record $57.5 million signing bonus. By Match, he will have earned over $80 million.
Rodgers last signed a contract extension back in 2013. Then, he signed for five years and $110 million. On the two remaining years of that contract, he would have earned $19.8 million in 2018 and $20 million in 2020.

Rodgers (34), entered the league in 2005. Since then he has become the heartbeat of the Green Bay Packers. He lead them to a championship in Super Bowl XLV, where he was named MVP.
As a starter, he holds a career record of 94 – 48 as a starter. He has passed 38,502 yards, 313 touchdowns and 78 interceptions. He has a passer rating of 103.8.
His passer rating and TD-INT ratio ranks as the highest in NFL history (minimum 2,000 attempts).

Entering his 14th season, Rodgers is one of the NFL’s stalwarts. He is one of two active players to win multiple MVP awards. As well as that, he is one of two quarterbacks with multiple first-team All-Pro selections. The only other current player to match these achievements is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Rodgers has also been named to six Pro Bowls. He is one of eight active quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl. He is the second-most productive quarterback in Packers history behind Hall of Famer Brett Favre.
