AFC East: News and Notes
Tim Tebow Makes Second to Last Cut
Tim Tebow may not make the final Patriots roster, but he has a fan in Pats owner Robert Kraft.
“I’m rooting for him big time,” Kraft recently told reporters. “I’m in his corner, but I have the privilege of letting Bill make those decisions. He has a pretty good record doing it.”
Here are the prop bets for the New England Patriots and the Tebow-related props. Of course, Tebow has to make the roster for those bets to be valid.

Joe Namath Critical of Jets, Rex Ryan
Mark Sanchez looked like he might be the starter for the New York Jets in Week 1. However, an injury late in a preseason game last weekend may rule him out, and one legendary Jet isn’t happy about it.
“You do not put your quarterback in there in that situation, not the guy that is probably going to be your starter, behind a makeshift offensive line in a preseason game,” Joe Namath said during an interview on The Rich Eisen Podcast. “Come on. There was no rhyme or reasoning to that.”
Namath also went on the question the leadership of the franchise.
“Who’s pushing the buttons?” Namath said. “We know the fan base would like to see Geno Smith out on the field. The reality is, Geno might not be ready. Now Sanchez might not be ready.”
“Why did he go on that field with backup players when, Thursday, your offensive coordinator is happy with what Sanchez has been doing?” Namath continued. “I mean, what are you doing?”

Undrafted Rookie Jeff Tuel to Start for Bills
The Buffalo Bills will most likely start undrafted rookie quarterback Jeff Tuel in Week 1. This is the first time that this has ever happened since the merger, and even Tuel’s college coach, Washington State’s Mike Leach, is skeptical.
“He’s never really won any games,” Leach said. “His entire college career and maybe his high school career as well, he’s never really gotten into a rhythm, between injuries and just being moved around a bit, with new coaches… If he can get in a rhythm in Buffalo, I’m really interested to see how it will turn out.”
