AFC East Odds: Who Will Challenge Pats?
The New England Patriots sit firmly on top of the AFC East odds, but many feel with Brady’s suspension and other circumstances that this may be the season that the Pats finally get a real challenge from division rivals.
After an initial shake up to the AFC East odds after deflategate became an issue again, the AFC East settled down and even with Brady being suspended for the first handful of games, they remain atop the odds.
The biggest threat may come by way of the Buffalo Bills. Coach Rex Ryan is in a critical second season that could decide whether or not he keeps his job with the New York franchise.
Miami will not likely seriously challenge the Pats as they adjust to a new head coach, while the Jets seem to be in a perpetual state of rebuilding.
The Pats Super Bowl odds dropped from 6-1 to 8-1. This puts them as co-favorites to win it all along with Seattle in the Super Bowl odds. Â They are 4/1 to take the AFC title.
