Alex Collins To Remain in Free Agency Due to Injury
Alex Collins has suffered yet another setback to his NFL career, and likely won’t find a team for 2019.
The free agent running back suffered a broken leg two weeks ago which required surgery, according to NFL.com.
Alex Collins was drafted in the fifth round by the Seattle Seahawks in 2016. In 2017, he joined the Baltimore Ravens, and that’s when he really came to the fore.Â
In his first season in Baltimore, Alex Collins led the team in rushing yards with 973. As well as that, he was tops in yards from scrimmage, with 1,160.Â

He had hoped to return to the field once all of that was dealt with, but now he will spend the year in rehab.Â
Collins took to Instagram to announce the news, saying he won’t let his bad luck get him down.
