Betting Trends to Consider for NFL Week 2

Betting trends are excellent ways to help bettors determine how to bet on a particular game. The straight up (SU), against the spreads (ATS) and the over/under (O/U) point total trends are important when it comes to NFL betting.

Here are a few to consider for Week 2 in the NFL.

The Green Bay Packers have gone 10-0 ATS dating back to December of 2009 as a favorite at home with five or more days rest and having won on the road the previous week in which they allowed fewer points that odds makers projected.

In contrast, the Baltimore Ravens have gone 0-11 ATS dating back to September 2001 following a win in which they completed 75% or higher of their passes.

When considering an individual player’s performance check out the Indianapolis Colts. Indy is 0-11 on the O/U when playing on the road dating back to December of 2015 following a game in which T.Y. Hilton finished with 75 or more yards receiving.

Oakland is 10-0-1 on the O/U dating back to December of 2007 as an underdog following a win as an underdog in which they allowed 18 or fewer first downs.

Baltimore is 0-13-1 on the O/U dating back to October of 2015 following a game on the road in which they earned 22 or more first downs.

Teams that gained at least 500 total yards during Week 1 (Baltimore and New Orleans in 2019), have gone 14-2 ATS.
