Blazers Are Favorites Over Kings

The Portland Trail Blazers are -8.5-point favorites against the Sacramento Kings when the two teams play later this afternoon.

The Kings got a boost from the hiring of new head coach George Karl. They won two games in a row out of the all star break before dropping a game to the San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 27. The Kings lost 107-96. The Kings failed to cover a +9.5 spread as under dogs in that game.

The Kings may still have trouble finding win against big-time teams with All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins injured. Regardless the Kings are looking to pick up their last homestand before going on their longest road trip of the season.

The Trail Blazers are the No.4 team in the in the Western Conference and is No.1 in the Northwest over the Oklahoma City Thunder. They are seven games up over the Thunder.
