“I was informed coming off the field that I am no longer the coach of Arkansas,†Bielema said after the game.
The program went 1-7 in conference this year, and the only SEC team Arkansas beat this year was Ole Miss.
in five years at Arkansas, Bielema went 29-33, including a 2-1 record in bowl games. The program barely won half its games last year and fell completely apart in 2017, prompting this, we assume, easy decision to cut ties with the head coach.
