Broncos Head To Kansas City
The Denver Broncos will look to head into Kansas City and get the W so they can officially say they are the best team in the AFC West. Â The Chiefs will be looking for a win that will tie them for the top spot in the division.
The Broncos are the 2-point favorites in this one. History is also on the side of the Broncos. They have won five straight games over the Chiefs, three of those time they have covered the spread.
The total is set at 49.5 points. Historically these two teams favor the under. The Chiefs are 25-10 in their last 35 home games on the under. In the last eight meetings between these two teams the under has been hit six times.
The Denver Broncos are still looking to find the perfect balance between their passing and run game. After relying too much on the pass a couple weeks ago, they split run and pass plays against the Miami Dolphins and found success. Kansas City  ranks 22nd in defense so the Broncos should be able to attack the secondary and find room to run.
The Kansas City Chiefs still struggle to find the end zone with their passing game. In fact, over the last 11 games a Chiefs wide receiver has not caught a touchdown pass. Tight end Travis Kelce has been the go to guy for the Chiefs passing game and if he is stifled by the Broncos defense, the Chiefs will struggle to keep up with Denver’s high-scoring offense.
Other trends to keep in mind is the Chiefs are 5-0 against the spread over their last five. Denver is 1-2 against the spread as road favorites by less than a field goal since 2012.
This game will be played on Sunday Night Football at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
