McDaniels would potentially be the team’s final interview before it made a decision. According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the organization is hopeful a decision on which candidate to hire will become clear on Friday. From there, the team could work out an agreement with the coach over the weekend.
Anderson notes that the possibility remains for the coaching search to last into next week. However, it’s expected as of now that the Browns will have their target and move forward with them.
