Cavs Are -6-Point Favorites Versus Blazers

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavilers will be heading into their game against the Portland Trial Blazers as -6-point favorites as they look for their eighth straight win.

If the Cavs manage to pull out the victory against Portland it will match their longest run of the season.

Cleveland has been dominating opponents as of late, winning their last seven games by an average of 13.8 points. Kyrie Irving and James seem to be finally clicking with James averaging 30.5 points over the last eight games. Irving scored a season-high 38 points in his last outing.

In that outing the Cavs defeated the Detroit Pistons 103-95. The Cavs failed to cover the spread as -8.5-point favorites. James scored 32 points in that contest.

The Cavs will host this game and they have been good to bettors when playing at home. They are 4-1 straight up and against the spread in their last five home games.

The Blazers may benefit from a surprise return from LaMarcus Aldridge tonight.

The Blazers have lost five of their last six game. Aldridge was absent for the team’s last two games, games in which the Blazers lost.

Aldridge returned in Portland’s last game against the Washington Wizards and dropped 26 points in route to a 103-96 win for Portland. Portland covered the spread as 3.5-point underdogs.

The Blazers are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games.

These two teams met earlier in the season with Blazer picking up the victory 101-82. Lillard led the way for the Blazers in that game with 27 points. Lillard is also on fire at the moment, averaging 20 points over six consecutive games.

The total is set at 207 points. Cleveland sent UNDER bettors to the window in their last game, while the Blazers made OVER bettors money in their last game. Cleveland favored the UNDER in six of their last eight games. Portland has hit the OVER in four of their last six games.
