That was a clear indication that the third-year Pro Bowler would be forced to miss Los Angeles’ Week 1 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
This could be a devastating blow for the Chargers as they look to start the season on a high note against the defending AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs. One now also has to wonder whether Joey Bosa’s foot injury is more of the long-term variety.

Bosa initially suffered the foot injury back in early August.
A first-round pick of the team back in 2016, Bosa has recorded 23 sacks over his first two NFL seasons. With him sidelined, Los Angeles will be relying more on Melvin Ingram to put pressure on young Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes come Sunday.
