Chargers plan to cut ties with Philip Rivers this offseason

Philip Rivers is moving his entire, and very large, family to Florida “permanently,” per ESPN last week.

He seemed to realize after the final game of the regular season that his time may be up with the Chargers and made it clear he will continue to play even if he wasn’t coming back.

After the news broke of his move to Florida, it wasn’t long before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were mentioned as a viable landing spot for the 38-year-old gunslinger.

He would fit the Bruce Arians mold to perfection, and as well as that, the Bucs have some of the best playmakers in the league.
