Checking In On College Football Futures
Ohio State is still sitting atop the Championship Future odds with a +300 moneyline.
The defending champions currently sit atop the odds and are many bettors pick to win the big one this season. The Buckeyes are favorites by double digits in every regular season game left to play at books that have released their game lines early.
SEC Juggernaut Alabama sits behind Ohio State with a +750 moneyline. Alabama, a team that is rarely absent from the national title conversation, lost a lot of players like Blake Sims and Amari Cooper to the NFL, leaving a lot of question at skill positions, including quarterback. Those questions now have been answered as they continue to rampage through the NCAA.
Louisiana State slipped from the third best odds to round out the top five. Â TCU (+1400) and USC (unlisted) were also in the top five last time we checked in, however, TCU has slipped to just on the outside of the top five spots, while USC is no longer in the futures at all. Taking their place is Clemson and Baylor.
