Chicago Bulls PG Derrick Rose Expected To Return Against Milwaukee Bucks
The Chicago Bulls are expecting to have their star point guard back in the lineup on Tuesday night. Derrick Rose is dealing with a knee and hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for the last three games.
According to Nick Friedell of ESPN, Rose should be on the floor against the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at the United Center:
Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is expected to play Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks after missing the past three games because of a sore right hamstring and a sore right knee. Rose had an MRI on that knee on Monday that showed no structural damage and went through Monday’s pregame activities.
With Rose on the shelf dealing with his injury issues, the Bulls won all three games without their star floor general. Chicago were able to get the best of the Indiana Pacers (102-100), New York Knicks (108-81), and Toronto Raptors (115-113) improving their record to 20-12.
Coming into the matchup with the Bucks with Rose expected to return, the Bulls are favored to come out with a fourth straight win. According to Sportsbook.ag, Chicago is favored with -8.5 point spread at home.
Although the Bucks have shown flashes of potential this season, the Bulls are by far the superior team in this matchup Eastern Conference playoff hopefuls. Chicago should get the win in front of their home crowd in the Windy City while covering the -8.5 spread with relative ease. Rose returning only gives the Bulls that much more security in the backcourt alongside Jimmy Butler.
Following the matchup against the Bucks, Rose and company will host the Boston Celtics on Thursday night before going on the road to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Sat. Jan. 9.
