The Golden State Warriors have slipped off the top of the future odds, though they still remain on top. They are now simply tied with the Cleveland Cavilers on the top of the odds.

The Warriors are off to a great start that some analysts are saying could develop into one of the best early-season runs in NBA history. But the sportsbooks work in mysterious ways.

Any team that Lebron James is on seems to be a sportsbooks darling, but the reasoning to keep the Cavs at the top has less to do with favoritism and more to do with Conferences. The road to winning the Eastern Conference Championship and going to the finals is an easier one to navigate than the rocky road to the Western Conference Finals spot.
