Clippers Getting Hit Hard Tuesday

The Utah Jazz pulled off the upset of the Los Angels Clippers on Saturday. So far, bettors don’t think it will happen again. The Clippers opened as 6.5-point favorites and have been bet up to LA-8 Sunday afternoon. The number of bets on the game are pretty much even, meaning the bigger bettors are coming in on Los Angeles. Both the public and the wise guys have been on the under, with 90 percent of the early wagers on the under. The number is down to 195.5 at some sportsbooks.

Also on Tuesday, the Raptors are -7.5 against the Bucks, which is what the game opened at. The Raptors are getting a slight majority of the bets. The total in that one has dropped a point to 192.5 with even betting.

There was no early line one the Boston game, as they aren’t playing until later on Sunday.

Bookmakers didn’t waste any time posting a line for Game 2 of the Atlanta at Washington series. The Wizards opened as 6-point favorites and were quickly bet down to 5.5. The total on the game is 212.

In Monday’s games, the Cavaliers are 7.5-point favorites over the Pacers. Cleveland just escaped with the victory in the first game and still looks out of sync. The total is higher than it was for the opener, as the first game easily went over the number. The total opened 212 but was quickly bet down again even though more over bets are coming in than under bets. Once again, it’s the wise guys pushing the number down. But it’s unlikely unders will go 52-32-2 as they did last year.

The under is getting hard in the San Antonio game, with 90 percent of the early bets on the under. The number has dropped from 190 to 188.5. The Grizzlies are getting the majority of spread bets in the game.
