Colin Kaepernick Plans To Boycott The National Anthem Indefinitely
Despite receiving an ridiculous mountain of backlash, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick isn’t walking back his decision to sit while the national anthem played ahead of their recent preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
In fact, if anything, he’s doubling down on the decision. Speaking with local media on Sunday, Kaepernick discussed his action and made it clear that he has every intention of sitting out the national anthem moving forward.

While the Niners have said publicly they support Kaepernick, the latest reports out of the Bay Area are that his chances to make the regular season roster are suddenly a long shot. Apparently they’re thinking about cutting him for football reasons.
