Columbus Near Top Of NHL Stanley Cup Odds
The NHL Stanley Cup odds have not exactly surprised this season, but there have been some shifts since the last time we checked in with them.
It is not a surprise to see the Washington Capitals followed by the Blackhawks at the top of the odds. Nor is it that shocking to see the Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins filling the next two spots. However, the Columbus Blue Jackets tied with the New York Rangers with the fifth best odds is not something most predicted.
The Blue Jackets are the No.2 team in the East. They may not be on a hot streak now, but the team has held there own all season and seemed destined for a coveted playoff spot.
Last year favorites, the San Jose Sharks and Montreal Canadiens round out the top eight teams in the NHL Stanley Cup odds.
