Cowboys DE Tyrone Crawford suffers “scary†ankle injury
The Dallas Cowboys are already thin at defensive line. Benson Mayowa, who put up six sacks last season, is the team’s top returning pass rusher. Fellow defensive end David Irving will be suspended to start the season.
And now Tyrone Crawford’s season is in jeopardy.
Fear is he suffered a break and this pic shows why. Ouch. https://t.co/yjBBAY4WGH

Now comes this potentially catastrophic news from Cowboys training camp indicating that the team fears starting defensive end Tyrone Crawford suffered a broken leg during Tuesday’s practice.
The former third-round pick from Boise State was expected to play a huge role for a Cowboys defense that has no real depth from a pass-rush standpoint.
There’s no question this would be a serious loss for the defending NFC East champions.
