Damien Harris Confident He Can Re-Establish Himself In Buffalo

Damien Harris won’t be tormenting the Buffalo Bills anymore, because the running back is one of them now.

Damien Harris had 2,094 yards rushing on 449 carries with 20 touchdowns in four years as a Patriot. He seemed to reserve his best performances for games against Buffalo, including a career-high three-TD game in 2021.

As well as that, he generated over 100 rushing yards three times against the Bills and five touchdowns in total.

Damien Harris enjoyed a career year in 2021 with 929 yards and 15 touchdowns on 202 carries. Injury meant he only played 11 games in 2022 and he eventually lost his place to Rhamondre Stevenson.

If Harris can channel the energy he felt playing against Buffalo, he could become a deadly weapon for them. He does seem genuinely enthusiastic about this next step in his career.

“I can finally say it now, but I love Bills Mafia,” Harris said.

“The energy, the enthusiasm, everything that comes with it, I’ve loved it ever since I came into the league just because I love sports towns and communities that really rally behind their team. I don’t know if anyone does that more than Buffalo fans.”

“I always said that playing against the Bills, I felt like brought out the best in me as a competitor and as a player,” Harris said.

“And from the outside looking in as an opponent, if I felt that way, then I knew that if I was able to join this organization, I feel like I could just take it to a new height.”
