Denarius Moore Signs One-Year Deal With Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals have brought in another offensive weapon for quarterback Andy Dalton with the acquisition of free agent wide receiver Denarius Moore.
According to NFL’s Albert Breer, Moore has agreed to a one-year deal with the Bengals:
The former Oakland Raiders wideout has signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, the team announced Monday. NFL Media’s Albert Breer reported that Moore will join the Bengals on a one-year contract.
Moore played four seasons with the Oakland Raiders and took the time to thank the late owner Al Davis for his time with the silver and black on his Instagram account:
In the four years played in Oakland, Moore racked up 2,226 yards from scrimmage and a grand total for 18 touchdowns. Although Moore had a promising season with the Raiders in 2012, the Tennessee product failed to live up to expectations the last two seasons and is coming off his worst season in the NFL.
Moore caught only 12 passes for 115 yards in 12 games last season. Moore failed to catch a pass in the endzone making it his first season without a touchdown to his credit.
Fortunately for the former Raider, Moore may have a better chance to make an impact in Cincinnati. The presence of Pro Bowler A.J. Green could open things up for Moore, but it remains to be seen if he can truly turn the corner in Cincinnati.
