Dez Bryant rejects multi-year offer from the Ravens

It looks like former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is willing to bet on himself. According to Ed Werder, the recently released former Pro Bowler turned down a long-term contract offer from the Baltimore Ravens.

He’s said to be looking for a one-year deal with an opportunity to hit free agency next March.

At 29 years old and having not recorded a 1,000-yard campaign since 2015, it’s surprising that Bryant was even offered a long-term deal. It’s more surprising that he would turn down said deal.

If Dez Bryant is indeed looking for a one-year contract, it stands to reason that he’d want to go to a team with a proven quarterback and a need for a starting receiver. The New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints obviously come to mind first.

Though, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams could also be in play here.

Don’t expect any answers until after the draft though.
