Dodgers and Giants Continue Rivalry

The Los Angeles Dodgers still remember being swept and shut out by their rivals the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers will be looking to put up more of a fight as they begin a three game series today, as this heated rivalry starts a new chapter.

The Dodgers are favorites with a -200 moneyline to take two of the three games in this series.

The Giants have taken seven of nine meetings this season against the Dodgers. The Dodgers are 2.5 games up in the NL West and look to be on the road to win the NL West for the third consecutive year.

The Giants do have one up on the Dodgers in that they won the World Series last season. In fact, San Francisco has won the World Series in three of its last five seasons. The Dodgers haven’t made to the World Series since 1988, where they won.

If L.A. fails to put up a run tonight it will match their longest scoring drought streak against any one team, a record that dates back to the 1930s.

The total is set at 7 runs. The total has gone UNDER in 4 of San Francisco’s last 5 games when playing against the Dodgers. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of the Dodgers last 6 games.
