NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport added that it was a one-year deal for the veteran.
Culliver played sparingly for the Washington Redskins in 2015. He played in six games and broke up only one pass. This came after he signed a whopping four-year, $32 million deal with Washington prior to the season.
Culliver played with the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-14, recording 36 passes defended and seven interceptions in 48 games.
Culliver will join a crowded secondary in Miami. When the Dolphins releasedtheir first depth chart of the season, Byron Maxwell and Tony Lippett were listed as the team’s starting corners.
