Domata Peko Would ‘Love’ to Play in L.A
Veteren defensive tackle Domata Peko believes that he has a few more years as an NFL starter left in him.
Domata Peko has started double-digit games in each of the last 12 NFL seasons. The 34 year old free agent is currently in talks with the Detroit Lions, although he’s open to any possibilities.
Domata Peko played for the Denver Broncos in 2018, where he started all 16 games. He recorded 31 tackles throughout the season, proving he still has something to offer a team.
“I think I have a couple more years in the tank,” he said.

He visited the Detroit Lions last week, but as an L.A native, hasn’t ruled out the Los Angeles teams.
“My agent’s trying to work some stuff out,” he said.
“We’re gonna see; just being patient with it and enjoying this time with my family.
“I would love to play here in L.A. I’m all about L.A., grew up in Whittier. So, dude, if the Rams come calling or the Chargers, I would love to do that.”
Of the two LA teams, Peko would prefer to play with the Rams. The decision comes down to the chance to play with all-world DT Aaron Donald. He didn’t even think about the Chargers’ Joey Bosa.
“I would like to be with Aaron Donald,” said Peko. “That would be dope.”

“Coach McVay, your boy Domata Peko here ready to go, and I would love to come out here and represent L.A. and try to pursue that championship,” Peko said.
Peko’s size and experience could work well alongside Aaron Donald. The Rams may not be in the market for a veteran, but if they are, who better than Peko?
