Eagles come to terms on Darren Sproles extension
The draft room didn’t even clear at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Saturday evening before the Philadelphia Eagles were busy making even more moves to help defend their Super Bowl title.
In his press conference following the draft, Eagles VP Howie Roseman announced that the team has re-signed veteran running back Darren Sproles.

This means that the 34-year-old veteran is indeed making a comeback after missing all but three games last season with a broken arm and a torn ACL. Talk about having passion for the game.
Sproles is one year removed from putting up 865 total yards and four touchdowns in Philadelphia. That included him catching 52-of-71 targets for 427 yards.
Sproles will compete with the likes of Jay Ajayi, Wendell Smallwood and Corey Clement for time in the Eagles’ backfield next season.
