Early College Football Playoff Odds: ‘Bama Is Back

The unbeaten Alabama Crimson Tide are the early favorites in the College Football Playoff odds. Clemson, Oklahoma and Notre Dame are also listed in that order.

Alabama’s cred list is long. They have Tua Tagovalioa under center. He is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. They are undefeated this season. Even though, Georgia took them to the limit in the SEC title game, the Tide find a way to roll and win. It is hard to see a situation where ‘Bama loses to Oklahoma at the Orange Bowl, considering the Sooners struggle on Defense. The Tide are -14-point favorites in the Orange Bowl.

The Clemson Tigers are also unbeaten this season. The Tigers are favorites against the Fighting Irish in the Cotton Bowl as 11.5 favorites. Many believe if any teams is going to stop the Tide’s roll it is the Tigers. They have been in this position before, so this is familiar territory for the Tigers.
