Early NBA Draft Odds

It may seem like the NBA season just ended, but it is never to early to start thinking about season, which is why some sports books have began to release odds for the NBA draft ahead of the event on Thursday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have already said, according to some sources, that they will be picking Karl-Anthony Towns No. 1 in the draft.With that oddsmakers have placed him has the big overall favorite to go No. 1.

Despite the reports of the Timberwolves already making their final decision, most expected Jalhlil Okafor to go No. 1 and the books are not ready to completely give up on him keeping his odds at 4-1, good enough for No. 2 in the odds list.

However, it is more likely that Okafor will go No.2 to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Philadelphia has the No. 3 overall pick in the draft and their move is a bit harder to predict with most saying they are looking at both  Ohio State freshman D’Angelo Russell or Kristaps Porzingis. Russell has denied reports that he is interested in playing for Philadelphia but later walked back those claims.

Let’s not forget that Justice Winslow, Emanuel Mudiay, Frank Kaminsky, Willie Cauley-Stein and other top names are also on the board.
