Elton Brand Promoted to Philadelphia 76ers GM
According to reports, Elton Brand is set to become the new general manager for the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers have been waiting since June to replace Bryan Colangelo, who resigned in June.
Elton Brand will replace Colangelo, who was the subject of an investigation prior to his resignation. He was found to be “careless and in some instances reckless†as he shared sensitive team information on Twitter.
Elton Brand is expected to be announced as the new Philadelphia 76ers’ president of basketball operations on Thursday.
Brand has significant history with the Philadelphia 76ers, and it seems his appointment will be well received by the players.
