Family friend found dead in home of Giants CB Janoris Jenkins
Police are investigating the discovery of a body at the home of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.
The dead man found in the home’s basement on Tuesday has since been identified.

Investigators say the victim is 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene, a friend of Jenkins who had been living at the home.

Jenkins himself has been staying in Florida since the Giants broke from minicamp. He reportedly wanted to come back to New Jersey in light of this event, but has reportedly been advised by his lawyers to remain in Florida at this time.
