Fiesta Bowl Sees Boise State Taking On Arizona

Boise State fans were not happy with the Broncos mere No. 20 ranking after going 11-2. Teams like Arizona, despite having a weaker overall record, were ranked above them. The Wildcats were ranked No. 10 to close the season.

The Broncos were a victim of their own schedule. Ranked low due to the convenience of an easy schedule. They lost only once as a favorite and finished the season 7-6 against the spread.

The Broncos are in the underdog position in this game, in spot they have not played well from recently. They are 2-4 against the spread and 0-6 straight up in their last four game as underdogs.

Jay Ajayi will get a lot of touches this game. He rushed for nearly 1,700 yards this season and had 25 touchdowns.

Arizona is the 3-point favorites in this game at most betting sites. They lost the Pac-12 Championship game but aside from the Wildcats were on a four game winning streak to close the season. Arizona likes to keep games close. They have won six of their last ten wins by a touchdown or less. With games staying this close, they are only 4-9 against the spread.

The total is set at 68 points. The OVER has hit in seven of Boise State’s last eight games. Arizona has hit the OVER in its last two bowl game appearances.

The game starts at 4 p.m. ET and you can watch it on ESPN.
