Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews To Be Named New Co-Host Of Dancing With The Stars

It looks like Erin Andrews will soon be pulling double duty on two different networks.

It looks like Erin Andrews will soon be pulling double duty on two different networks.

On Saturday The Big League’s Jason McIntyre reported that Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews has been selected to replace Brooke Burke alongside Tom Bergeron as the co-host of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

Though ABC has yet to confirm the news, which TBL received from two separate sources within the network, they are expected to make an announcement regarding the change on Monday.

The set of DWTS would be a familiar one for Andrews, who appeared on Season 10 of the show in the spring of 2010. She finished in third place behind Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek and Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger.

Andrews also dated her dance partner from the show, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, for a period of time following their run.

According to TBL, Andrews is not expected to leave her job at Fox or even cut down on her duties as a sideline reporter and in studio host. She is based out of Los Angeles and should be able to maintain both schedules, like Fox’s Michael Strahan, who co-hosts Live with Kelly and Michael during the week.

DWTS has been struggling in the ratings recently, but there are no indications the show is in trouble just yet. As in seasons past, the new cast for the show will be announced in early March, with the show premiering towards the end of the month.
