Marshall signed a two-year deal with New York but suffered a season-ending injury before being able to do much of anything for Big Blue. He finished the season with just 18 catches for 154 yards and no touchdowns, appearing in five games.
New York is saving $5 million against the cap with this move. Now, perhaps, much to Marshall’s chagrin, the Giants actually could have room to sign Dez Bryant after all.
In 12 years as a pro, Marshall has hauled in 959 passes for 12,215 yards and 82 touchdowns.
