Grizzlies Huge Favorites Over Portland In Game 2

Momentum can shift at any given game in a series and the Portland Trail Blazers are hoping to shift the momentum tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.

In game won Portland looked like a team that had no chance of competing with Memphis. The Grizzlies won in a convincing fashion 100-86. Portland failed to cover a +5.5-point spread as underdogs. It is for that reason we see the Trail Blazers as big +7-point underdogs against Memphis in Game 2.

Portland came in to the playoffs on a four-game losing streak and after their game one loss they have dropped five in a row. Over those five they have covered the spread zero times. Their last five games on the road, they have also failed to cover in any of them. Portland is in desperate need of momentum.

The Grizzlies, on the other hand, have been very good to bettors over their last handful of games dating back to the end of the season. Over their last six games they have covered five times. They are also 5-1 against the spread in their last six homes games.

The key contest in the game is the match up between guards Damian Lillard and Mike Conley. Conley scored 16 points in Game 1 and is playing with  a sprained right heel. Lillard will need to contain Conley better in Game 2 for the Blazers to win it.

The total for this game is set at 189. In Game 1, the total went UNDER with a slightly higher total. Memphis has actually made UNDER bettors money in eight of their last 11 games. Portland has hit the UNDER in five of their last seven games.

The game starts at 8 p.m. ET and you can watch it on TNT. Game 3 of the series will take place on April 25.
