Grizzlies Look To Solve Warriors’ Riddle

The Golden State Warriors are looking like a team that know there time has come. Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have to look for a way to slow down the Warriors so they will have a chance in this series.

The Grizzlies were without starting guard Mike Conley in Game 1, and how much of an impact he has for Memphis was felt in the opener of this series. Nick Calathes covered for Conley and shot 0-for-4 with two assists and three turnovers. The Grizzlies need Conley in this fight, however he is listed as questionable for Game 2.

The Warriors are rolling. They are undefeated in the postseason so far, and they have covered the spread in their last two ball games. The Warriors have had trouble covering the spread in their last five playoff games because they were so heavily favored. Look at tonight’s line below for an example of the type of point spread bettors are banking on them covering.

The Warriors are -10 point favorites. In Game 1 of this series the Warriors covered a -10.5-point spread as favorites. They won 1001-86.

In the first game in this series the total was set at 196.5 points and game’s combined scores fell way UNDER. The total for this game is set at 197 points.

The total has hit the UNDER in five of Memphis’ last seven games. Also, these two teams met four times over the course of the regular season with the total hitting the UNDER in all those games with the exception of their last meeting, which came at a time where both teams did not have a lot to play for with playoff spots already secured.

The game starts at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT. Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday, May 9.
