Heart Of Dallas Bowl Odds

After a Christmas break NCAA bowl games are back underway and so are the books with today’s best bet being the Heart of Dallas Bowl odds.

Utah are -6.5-point favorites in the Heart of Dallas Bowl Odds.

Utah and West Virginia will be battling in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. This game is the bowl game that bettors should keep their eye on today. The Mountaineers will be starting without quarterback Will Grier. In his place is backup QB Chris Chugunov. Expect West Virginia to rely more on Kennedy McKoy and the run game. The Mountaineers are a run first team anyway but we should see an even bigger influx in their run game. How often they’ll find paydirt without Grier is up in the air.

Utah also prefers to run the ball. It is there defense that will probably impact betting the most, though. Utah’s defense only allowed 23.9 points per game in the Pac 12. Utah is 2-5 OVER/UNDER in their last seven non-conference games.

West Virginia has also hit the UNDER in six of their last seven games. In Bowl games, the Mountaineer are 1-7 (OVER/UNDER). They have scored just 14 points in two of their last four Bowl appearances.

With both team’s consistently focused on running the ball, Utah’s defense, West Virginia’s UNDER trends and Grier being out of action, the 56 point total feels like it’ll finish on the UNDER.
