Huskies Look to Continue MAC Dominance Against Akron in Week 7
The Northern Illinois Huskies, led by quarterback Jordan Lynch, are the No. 23-ranked team in the country. However, with their remaining weak schedule against MAC opponents, that’s unlikely to change. The team faced harsh criticism last year for making it to a BCS appearance against Florida State, which they lost badly in the Orange Bowl. It appears they’re unlikely to earn a repeat trip, though all they can do is continue winning. This week, they face the Akron Zips in a game in which they’re favored by 22 points.
