The Indianapolis Colts headed into the 2015 NFL season as legitimate Super Bowl title contenders and the one team many anticipated to end the title defense of the New England Patriots. Andrew Luck and company were sporting an impressive offense with upgrades all over the field, but the team was put in their place early with a devastating loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.

The Bills gave Luck’s Colts a painful reality check with a 27-14 blowout. Buffalo’s defense was stifling with Luck simply having no answers, but Indianapolis will have an opportunity to bounce back with a vengeance in Week 2 on the road against the New York Jets.

Much like the Colts, the Jets surprised some people in Week 1, but for a different reason. New York was able to pull off an impressive win against the Cleveland Browns. Although the Browns are by no means a team expected to compete for a title or even playoff spot this season, the Jets beating up on them 31-10 was somewhat impressive.

In Week 2, the Colts will host the Jets and as expected are favored to come out on top. Indianapolis are currently favored with a -7 point spread, according to Sportsbook.ag. Although the Bills did expose some chinks in the armor in Week 1, the Colts will likely come out firing on all cylinders and looking to blowout the Jets on the biggest stage of Monday Night Football.

Things should get easier following the matchup against the Jets in Week 2. Indianapolis will face the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans in consecutive weeks leading up to an AFC Championship Game rematch against the Patriots in Week 6.
