A.J. Green won’t be suspended for hit on Jalen Ramsey
The NFL has opted not to suspend Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green for his attack on Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey in Week 9.
No other players, not AJ Green nor any Cardinals nor 49ers, will be suspended for Sunday’s actions, per league official.

The attack occurred in the second quarter of the game after Ramsey had pushed Green. The receiver put Ramsey into a chokehold, slammed him to the ground and rained blows upon his head and body.
Both players were ejected, though it was clear Ramsey didn’t deserve it.
It’s interesting that Green is getting off without a suspension, while Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans was suspended for a cheap-shot hit on New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore. One big difference there is that Green was ejected, while Evans was not.
Still, what Green did was so much more egregious we figured he’d be next in line for a suspension. Once again, the NFL keeps us on our toes by seemingly being very arbitrary with its discipline.
