Kawhi Leonard, Andre Iguodala Officially Ruled Out Of Spurs-Warriors Game 2
The San Antonio Spurs were on the verge of stealing Game 1 and home-court advantage in the Western Conference Finals this past weekend. San Antonio was in complete control until superstar Kawhi Leonard went down with an ankle injury that forced him out of the game.
Ultimately, the Spurs fell the Warriors in Game 1, and the news gets worse with Leonard ruled out for Game 2 in Oakland, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News:

Along with Leonard being out for the Spurs, the Warriors will also have a vital player on their roster stuck on the sidelines. Andre Iguodala will also miss tonight’s game due to knee soreness via ESPN’s Marc J. Spears:

As expected, with arguably their best players out of the lineup, the Spurs are heavy underdogs in their Game 2 showdown with the Warriors. Golden State is currently favored by -13.5, according to Sportsbook.ag.
If the Spurs can somehow come away with a win Game 2, the team will in a good position to make it a series with the favorites to win it all. The Warriors are without a doubt the team to beat in the NBA playoffs right now as they have yet to lose a game and could very well run the table.
Game 3 of this Western Conference Finals will continue on Sat. May 20 back in San Antonio. Fortunately for the Spurs, this may give Leonard ample time to heal up to be ready for Saturday on their home floor.
