KJ Wright Wants Seahawks Return After One Season With Raiders

After only one year away, Las Vegas Raiders linebacker KJ Wright is pining for the place he feels at home.

KJ Wright was drafted in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He established himself as a starter in his rookie season.

The 32-year-old was a vital member of Seattle’s Super Bowl XLVIII team, making seven tackles in the victory over Denver.

The 2016 Pro Bowler had five 100-plus tackle seasons for the Seahawks, and a total of 992 in his career.

KJ Wright played every game for the Raiders in the only season in a decade he didn’t play for Seattle. In spite of this, he wants to return to the Seahawks for next season.

“I just want to go back home,” Wright said. “I think it’s that simple. Seattle knows that I want to come back. They know how much they mean to me.”

“Last year, I left, I went to Vegas by myself, my family didn’t come with me. I’m not doing that again,” Wright said. “I don’t think I’m going to move my family anywhere across the country. If it’s not Seattle again, I’ll be happy, I’ll be content.”
