Kyler Murray Drafted by Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the first pick of the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

The Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner joins Josh Rosen, at least temporarily, in Arizona. The Cardinals drafted quarterback Josh Rosen with the 10th pick in last years draft. Things haven’t worked out for Rosen, and it looks as if Kyler Murray is his replacement.

Drafting a quarterback two years in a row is almost unheard of. When the second quarterback is also an accomplished baseballer like Kyler Murray, you know the situation is a bit special.

“I feel we can be very dangerous,” Murray said.

“He’s one of the best in the world at calling plays. I can’t wait to get up there with him. It’s been a long time coming and I hope he feels the same.”
