Lakers clear enough salary for second max contract
As part of the Anthony Davis deal, the Los Angeles Lakers are trading three players to the Washington Wizards to clear up cap space for free agency, per Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe of ESPN.

Per the report, Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga and Jemerrio Jones are heading to the nation’s capital as part of the Davis trade.
Here’s how much each player makes in 2019-20 (via Spotrac):
- Mo Wagner: $2.06 million
- Isaac Bonga: $1.42 million
- Jemerrio Jones: $1.42 million
Add them up, and the Lakers are clearing roughly $4.9 million off the books. Additionally, Davis is waiving his $4.1 million trade kicker, per Woj.
