As Robinson notes, “Samuel’s hiring is an unambiguous sign that McCoy intends to aggressively defend himself against allegations that have yet to find provable traction.â€
McCoy is being accused of orchestrating an attack against his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon. The incident took place early Tuesday morning at a home he owns in Milton, Georgia.

Police have confirmed that two women suffered injuries in the attack. As well as that, the attack appears to have been a specifically targeted incident, rather than a random encounter.
Cordon’s lawyer issued a statement Tuesday evening accusing McCoy or setting up the attack. Allegedly, the assailants demanded jewellery that McCoy had gifted her and asked to be returned to him.
Responding to these accusations, McCoy has denied having any involvement and said he has not spoken to or seen Cordon in months.
