Lions Need A Win Against Favorited Broncos

The Detroit Lions have yet to obtain a mark in the W-column and are starting to feel the pressure mount as they go up against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.

Detroit was a good team at home last year. They went 7-1 straight up and 5-3 against the spread at home last year. However, over their last six games, the Lions have gong 1-5 against the spread.

The total for the game is set at 44.5 points. The Lions have trended over the UNDER in their last 22 games (16-6). They have hit the UNDER and the OVER each one this season.

The total may come down more to one players performance, Peyton Manning. If Manning can look like his old self and not just old against a Lions’ defense that looks like it has taken a step back this season then the OVER should look appealing to bettors.
